34 Years

Happy Birthday

Christian James Willey

Yesterday was Chris' Birthday. He turned 34. He is the love of my life! We took the evening and stayed home. Our lives are always so busy that we don't spend alot of time just relaxing on the couch and talking. This was wonderful. The Saturday before I had a few friends over to have a casual get together, snacks, homemade soup and lots of laughs. Earlier that day I had realized that Chris and I have been together Half of our lives. We started dating at age 17, so 17 years together. Amazing that I was lucky enough to find a man I was destined to be with at such an early age.

He is a wonderful husband, father and friend. If you are not blessed to have him in in your life you are missing out!

Chris

Chris, the leader of our family, works for Toyota Financial in Cedar Rapids. He is passionate about his family, friends and his hobbies. He currently volunteers his time as Vice President of the Snow Pioneers, Vice President of the Mississippi Valley Jeep Club, Region 5 Director for the Iowa State Snowmobile Association, teaches hunter safety, snowmobile safety, atv safety and groomer operators and also teaches atv safety in the fall for the schools farm safety day. When not working and volunteering he spends his spring, summer and fall either riding his Harley or going Off Roading in his Jeep. The winter you will find him running the groomer for the snowmobile trails or riding his sled on the trails. Never one to just sit around he is always busy!

Andrea

Andrea or known to most as Annie, is the organizer of our family. Without her we would never keep anything straight. Annie is starting a new career as a Lia Sophia advisor and also makes vinyl signs and decals and works for Dave's Complete Construction, Inc part time. Annie also volunteers as Secretary of the Snow Pioneers, secretary and treasurer of the Mississippi Valley Jeep Club, secretary of the Iowa State Snowmobile Association, and helps out with Isabelle's girl scout troop. When not working, volunteering or being the go to person for our family, she loves to cook and bake, often making things from scratch. She is a crafter of all sorts and loves to garden. Friends often stop by just to see what new thing she has made in the kitchen.

Isabelle

Isabelle is currently 11 years old and entering the 6th grade. Though it seems like she is 16 most days. She loves music, and crafting. You will often find her making a something new with duct tape, listening to the radio up in her room. Growing up way to fast in her parents eyes, she is beginning to mature and helps out at home doing the dishes and picking up. As most girls she loves to change outfits and is always interested in great accessories, but when everyone isn't looking you will find her out in the garage with her dad helping him on his latest project. As the rest of the family she loves to go Jeeping and snowmobiling.
